I've been a makeup enthusiast for (cough) 40 years since I found Way Bandy's Designing Your Face in my local library when I was a teenager. I've never before found shadows that are such high quality, offered in an amazing range of colors, and are so easy to work with. This is becoming even more important as my skin matures. I owe a big "thank you" to Stephanie Nicole for introducing me to the brand. I'm getting off the "latest palette" bandwagon and sticking with Viseart. I'm also quite pleased that the Theory palettes are designed to be able to rearrange the pans. When at home I can keep my various palettes all together in one large magnetic palette. I've saved the individual Theory and Petit Pro palettes to use for travel.
I started with your neutral palette! And have been hooked ever since. The shadows are so blendable, like silk. No fallout at all. Great for my 53 year old eyes lol .I love everyone of my palettes have the amethyst, minks and cashmere. Recently got the cool mattes too. Will be getting another one soon!!!
I have all Theory palettes and this is the one I love ;) I love my purples and these are the best I ever owned! Purple eyeshadows are very difficult to make but Viseart did it! Great palette ;)
The mattes do take a bit of work to build up. I have researched a few different looks and will experiment with those. The deep shimmer does not last as long as I would like, may need to build it up also. However, they do not irritate my eyes as many purples do including MAC. So yes a keeper.
Viseart could not have named the Amethyst palette better. The palette has gorgeous complementing colors to that dark plum (pinks and mauves) so its a very versatile palette. I use this palette to mix and match with my other eyeshadow palettes and I use this when I need an accent purple or cool pink on my eyes. Excellent formula for both mattes and shimmers.
These are easily the best purple eyeshadows I've ever used. My only complaint is that the mattes take a bit of work to build and maintain pigmentation because they can blend away to be more sheer. However, they never go patchy and last well on my eyes. I love this despite the slight extra work I have to put in compared to other Viseart mattes.
No need to look elsewhere for blendable, pigmented purple shadows which stay true to colour all through the workday without budging. No fall-out at all, and they are very smooth. The colours work very well together, no need to pull in a second palette. Goes very nicely with the Enamoured palette.
I bought 4 of the Viseart Theory eyeshadow palettes. I have never EVER spoiled myself like this. Two of the palettes were pre-orders (Amethyst and Nuance). The other two are older palettes and I love them (Minx and Cashmere). However, HALF of the shadows from both the Amethyst and the Nuance palettes are overly powdery, lack pigmentation, and fade after a few hours of wear (despite using my trusted eyeshadow primer). I am so DISAPPOINTED I could CRY.
I purchased the spring Palettes from Viseart, which is my first encounter with the brand and I couldn't be happier. This particular palette has three matte and shimmer light, medium, and dark purple shades. I would say the matte ones are good for daytime and the shimmer ones are good for nighttime. The pigments are beautiful and long lasting. This is a perfect palette if you're seeking out purple shades.
